Product Overview
The internally threaded anchor, commonly called a drop-in anchor, is a hollow shell with a thread inside. It is tapped into a drilled hole with a setting tool, which expands the shell against the concrete, and a standard bolt is then screwed in when needed. Because the fixing sits flush or below the surface and the bolt is removable, it is the standard choice where a clean surface matters or where the fixture is taken down periodically. Our drop-in anchors are made from carbon steel with blue white zinc plating, in thread sizes M6 to M20, and they suit solid concrete, solid brick and stone. Typical users are formwork contractors, electrical installers and cleanroom and ceiling trades.

Drilling Preparation
Ensure the hole wall is flat and free of loose debris.
Dust Removal
Thoroughly clean the dust and concrete debris in the hole with a vacuum cleaner or air pump.
Incomplete dust removal will greatly reduce the pull-out bearing capacity of the anchor bolt, so this step cannot be omitted.
Anchor Bolt Placement
Put it into the cleaned hole, and push it to the bottom of the hole by hand to ensure the anchor bolt is completely attached to the hole wall.
Preliminary Hammering Fixing
Place an iron sheet on the top of the anchor bolt (to protect the screw port), and gently hammer the top of the anchor bolt with a hammer to make it initially fixed in the hole.
Expansion Forming
Put on a special hammering sleeve, and hammer the sleeve with a hammer to make the expansion piece at the bottom of the anchor bolt fully expand and form a mechanical lock with the concrete hole wall.
Installation Completion
After the anchor bolt is expanded, check whether it is firm, and then carry out the subsequent component installation.
