Product Overview
The heavy load self-tapping flange bolt combines a thread-cutting anchor body with an integrated flange head, so the bolt fastens the workpiece and sets the anchor in one operation. The flange spreads bearing pressure over a wider area than a plain nut and washer, which matters on thin base plates and near concrete edges. The head carries anti-slip teeth that grip the workpiece surface so it does not rotate while the anchor is driven. Our bolts are made from grade 8.8 medium carbon steel with heavy hot dip galvanizing for outdoor exposure, in sizes M12 to M24 and lengths from 80 mm to 400 mm. Typical users are structural steel fabricators, road restraint installers and heavy equipment contractors.
