Product Overview
The hex blind rivet nut, also called a nutsert, is a threaded insert installed from one side of thin sheet metal. It has a hexagonal body that resists torque after installation and a threaded barrel that the mandrel of a rivet nut gun deforms inward, clamping the panel from the back. Our blind rivet nuts are made from carbon steel with yellow zinc plating; stainless A2 and A4 bodies are available for corrosive service. Sizes run M4 to M12 and suit sheet thickness from about 0.8 mm to 6 mm depending on size. Because no backside access is needed, it is the standard fix for closed sections such as electronic enclosures, server chassis and furniture panels.
