Product Overview
The hot dip galvanized wedge anchor is the carbon steel wedge anchor with a heavy zinc coating applied by immersion in a zinc bath, which builds a much thicker layer than electroplating and suits long term outdoor exposure. The working parts are unchanged: one piece stud, expansion clip driven over the cone by the nut, and a nut and washer set. Because the coating is thick, the thread run is cleaned back to bare steel before supply so the nut turns freely, and any cut end is touched up with zinc rich paint after installation.
